Top Dawg Genetics' JJ Edwards got his start in the underground New York City cannabis scene of the '80s after experiencing the '70s hippie pot culture and the beginning of the early '80s "kind bud" sensi bud culture. In Central Park, he befriended a breeder who would ultimately start an east coast cannabis revolution with a strain called Chemdog. In the '90s, JJ started experimenting with breeding his own seeds. The emergence of the Internet gave JJ credibility on the site Overgrow.com, where he shared his experience with his Chemdog and Sour Diesel strains. He began selling seeds on International Cannagraphic Magazine for seed credit, and his strain "Star Dawg" gained massive popularity. In 2011, Top Dawg Seeds won its first San Francisco High Times Cannabis Cup award. Following this success, Top Dawg Seeds has been recognized with multiple awards for multiple seed strains, and as the best of the best by its recent introduction into the High Times Breeders Hall of Fame. The vibes translate to the plants, as they are grown and bred with good intentions and a positive wholesome energy that passes on to anyone who comes in contact with them. GG Genetics was created by 2 outlaws Joesy Whales and Lone Watty in 2015 in Sin City (Las Vegas NV) , these breeders are the creators of the infamous Original Glue (GG4) as well they created some amazing clone only genetics for certified partners, such as New Glue (GG5), Sister Glue (GG1), Purple Glue, GlueChee, I Do "Glue", and more to come! Original Glue (GG4) is the first one of the GG Genetics released. In 2014 GG4 was entered into the High Time San Bernidino (LA) Medical Cannabis Cup, with the goal of placing in the top 3. Not only did she place, Original Glue (GG4) won 1st place (at that time she won under the name of Gorilla Glue 4) Later that year, The Original Glue (GG4) was also entered the High Times cup Michigan winning 1st place a second time, remarkably they also took home the 1st, 3rd, and 4th in the High Times Jamaica World Cup the rest is history.... The Seed Cracker was invented to help with the germination of old genetics that have become weak from old age or improper storage. These old seeds can use a little help in the germination process. By pre cracking the seed it can then use its energy to grow and not waste it trying to bust open a tough shell. In the process of using the Seed Cracker i have started cracking all my seeds. New and old. This is my preference and not the preference of some. I believe if you sterilize the seed, pre cracking will only speed germination. The fastest seed i have sprouted is at 36 hours standing straight up in a peat plug. Directions are on the label.
